Taylor Sengstack is a Nashville-based artist who has always turned to creativity as a way of understanding the world around her. From a young age, art became her language when words felt out of reach. Studying alternative and digital photography processes sparked a lifelong curiosity about how images hold emotion and memory.
After several years working as a professional photographer, Taylor stepped away from art to find stability in the corporate world. That search ultimately led her back to where she began—making things by hand, exploring light, and rediscovering her passion for image-making.
Her current work centers on themes of self-discovery and perseverance, often finding quiet beauty in what’s easily overlooked. She primarily works in alternative photographic processes, including cyanotypes and photograms.
